Ray Rice Shares Words of Wisdom with YTLer's

With eyes fixed on the speaker, the 2016 class of NRYTL took a few moments from practice to listen to Ray Rice and his story. The younger kids did not know the details of his story, just that he was in the NFL, and now he is not for something he did.

They listened because he is 'Ray Rice', but his talks' emphasis was on how they could make everyday good decisions in their own lives. He spoke of actions and consequences, making mistakes, learning and continuing growth. He spoke in a language of football, so they could understand, and in the end he was speaking about life.

For 60 years one of our missions has been to assist in building character through sport. Ray Rice and his story is an example of this and we thank him for sharing his story with the youth of our community.
